Our finishing ration for homegrown beef. No corn gluten or anything else that can alter the taste of the meat. Feed 0.5 to 1.5 lbs per 100 lbs of body weight with plenty of roughage and free-choice mineral.

Hinton Maximizer (16CRS)

A dairy lactation ration. Start 2 to 3 weeks before calving, build intake to 1% of body weight at calving, then feed up through peak milk. First-calf heifers need about 4 extra pounds at every level. Feed quality forage free choice with dairy mineral.

Challenger Bovatec Acidified Calf Milk Replacer, Medicated

Manufactured by Burkmann Mills. A medicated acidified milk replacer with Lasalocid for the control of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii in replacement calves. Do not use in calves being processed for veal, and keep horses and other equines away from it.

Minerals

Livestock mineral, mixed for Kentucky ground

Two lines of free-choice cattle mineral bagged in 50 lb sacks and made for Hinton Mills in Flemingsburg. Heritage carries chelated and hydrochloride trace minerals; Legacy runs higher phosphorus and trace levels. Both come in a standard, a high-magnesium and an IGR fly-control version. All contain added copper — do not feed to sheep.

Heritage Cattle Mineral (HM200)

Our everyday free-choice beef mineral with chelated and hydrochloride trace minerals. Feed in covered feeders near water, one station per 15 head, and put out only what they'll clean up in seven days. Do not feed additional salt or mineral. Three ounces provides 3 mg of selenium.
