Livestock

Livestock equipment for real working farms.

Chutes, headgates, alleys, panels, gates and waterers — the steel that makes working day go smoothly. We've helped Kentucky cattlemen set up their pens for four generations, and we'll help you set up yours.

Cattle handling equipment.

We sell Priefert ranch equipment — the blue steel you've seen in working pens all over the county. Easy on the cow, easy on the cowboy. Come look at what we have on the lot, or tell us what you're building and we'll order it in.

Squeeze chutes

Work cattle safer, with fewer hands

The S04 is Priefert's best-selling squeeze chute, and it's the one we're asked about most. One person can run the headgate, squeeze, tailgate and side exit from a single spot. The infinite locking system holds the animal instead of your arms doing the work.

  • Automatic or manual HG91 headgate
  • Floating floor and split tailgate
  • Drop-down access bars on both sides
  • Infinite locks guaranteed for life

Headgates

Catch any size neck, no adjusting

The HG91 headgate works manually or automatically and switches to self-catch with the flip of a lever. Mount it on an alley, a chute, or a portable stand. Add the neck extender when you need to steady an animal for shots or tagging.

  • Manual, automatic or self-catch
  • Reversible and portable
  • Head chain restraint included
  • Neck extender and stand available

Alleys, systems & panels

Move the herd without the wrestling match

Working alleys, crowding tubs, corral panels and gates that connect to what you already own. If you're starting from bare ground, we'll help you lay out a complete working system so cattle flow one direction and your crew stays out of the way.

  • Working alleys with Model 91 headgate
  • Preg panels and palpation cages
  • Premier panels, gates and continuous fence
  • Complete working system layouts
